Good but should do more...

I’m a former network engineer and find this tool useful for monitoring the status of my extensive home network. I like the ability to launch the management tools from the IP Scan Console. The ability to ping various network components is nice, but you should be able to specify the ping duration and store or print the results.

After I bought this tool, I later purchased Network Admin Pro for $30 more. It provides the ping capability but also automates the process and captures reports in graffic form. This tool also has a mapping function with status dashboard capability.

The bottom line - IP Scanner Pro is a useful tool, but for $30 more, Network Admin Pro is a better choice.
